Due to the coronavirus, the conference “The Virtual Foundry – Status and Future Developments” is postponed to 18th and 19th March 2021.
In view of the current developments surrounding the coronavirus and corresponding restrictions on travel, especially for international participants, the RWTH Aachen Foundry Institute and AGIFA have decided to postpone the international conference “The Virtual Foundry – Status and Future Developments”. The event has been rescheduled to take place one year from now on 18 and 19 March 2021 in Aachen. The Ph.D. student seminar planned to take place before the conference will also be postponed to 17 March 2021.
Those responsible for the event have been following the situation very carefully over the last few days and have been in intensive contact with all those involved. The cancellation of both events, for which we expected around 200 international participants, is purely preventive and is due to the dynamic current situation. We assure you that this decision was very difficult for us.
We will keep you informed about the event to take place in 2021. We hope that you will experience as little inconvenience as possible regarding the cancellation of your travel to Aachen.
